I am 6 weeks pregnant, and on Dec. 4th experienced a good
amount of red bleeding followed by brown Spotting During pregnancy...I was
taken to the hospital and an ultrasound/internal was done...my cervix was
closed, the ultrasound showed a healthy little one with a heartbeat The bleeding was unexplained but I was told
not to change anything, the brown Spotting During pregnancy continued but slowed to pretty much a stop on
the 7th, I had sex that night and the brown spotting during pregnancy came
back....has anyone had an experience like this? What was the outcome? Can sex
during pregnancy cause the Spotting During pregnancy? The doctor told me not to
stop any activites but I have decided to anyways, just in case. Is there
anything I can do? Thank you in advance.
Spotting During pregnancy (especially early pregnancy) your
cervix is easily irritated. this can be caused by sex, a pelvic exam, a transvaginal ultrasound,
or a pap smear.
a little Spotting During pregnancy and bleeding, that ends and sometimes even
some light cramping can occur and everything is usually all right. it sounds to
me like you have a sensitive cervix. You do what you need to do to feel
comfortable (like stopping activities). the irritation will probably clear up
by the 2nd trimester. Best of luck to you and congratulations on your
pregnancy.
Vaginal
bleeding/ Spotting During pregnancy can occur frequently in the first trimester
of pregnancy and may not be a sign of problems. But bleeding that occurs in the
second and third trimester of pregnancy can often be a sign of a possible
complication. Bleeding can be caused by a number of reasons.
Some basic things to know about bleeding are:
If you are bleeding, you should always wear a pad or panty liner so that you can monitor how much you are bleeding and what type of bleeding you are experiencing.
You should never wear a tampon or introduce anything else into the vaginal area such as douche or sexual intercourse if you are currently experiencing bleeding.
If you are also experiencing any of the other symptoms Spotting Duringpregnancy in connection with a possible complication, you should contact your health care provider immediately.
You know, I asked my doctor the same thing the other day and she just told me that along the outside of your uterus, you have a ton of little blood vessels and they can burst randomly and during sex. She said that it's not a bad thing, completely normal. There's not much that you can do, but just take it easy and take care of yourself. The only time that it's bad is if there is heavy bleeding followed by cramps. This Spotting During pregnancy can be a sign of miscarriage. But other than that, I think that you'll be fine.
